Find and report fake locksmith listings on Google Maps

A free tool for working locksmiths. Scan the map around your service area, flag the listings that look like lead-generation fronts, and get an assessment back by email.

How it works

  1. Enter your business name, your email, and the link to your own Google Maps listing.
  2. Confirm your location and the radius you serve on the map.
  3. Pick the listing types that compete with you. You can choose more than one.
  4. Review the locksmith listings Google Maps shows in your area, side by side with a map.
  5. Flag the ones that look suspicious, say why, and attach a screenshot if you have one.

We review every submission by hand and email you an assessment, usually within a few days. Your flags are private and nothing is posted publicly.

Why fake listings matter

Fake locksmith listings use a local-looking name and address to collect calls, then sell the job to whoever is nearby, often at a bait price that changes on arrival. They push real shops down the map and they are the main reason customers distrust the trade. Reporting them with good evidence is the most reliable way to get them removed.

The tool is free and does not require a Nyrano account. It needs JavaScript to run the map. Nyrano is locksmith business software for automotive locksmiths. Questions: contact@nyrano.com.
